Energy efficiency in focus

Inwido plays a leading role in developing windows and doors that are both environmentally friendly and energy efficient. About a third of the heat in a home is lost through windows. A normal sized household can lower its annual energy needs by 4,000 kilowatt hours by installing energy efficient windows. Each kilowatt hour saved reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 1 kilogram.

Apart from playing an important role by the products we produce Inwido has internal goals within energy consumption. These are to lower:

• The consumption of fossil fuels
• Electricity consumption
• The amount of energy produced in internal processes
