100 percent focus on exclusive sliding doors

Profin has manufactured exclusive sliding doors in northern Finland since 1977. Here, traditional craftsmanship is combined with modern production technology. The goal is to achieve the highest possible quality and unique designs adapted to the demanding Nordic climate.

Since 2018, Profin, with its approximately 60 employees, has been a member of the Inwido family. Profin has become synonymous with exclusive sliding doors of the highest quality and is the Finnish market leader in its segment.

Design and function in harmony

Profin’s products are based on aesthetics and modern design. Its sliding doors are to bring a positive sense of light, space and quality of life. Exclusivity and quality can be felt in the tiniest detail. At the same time, considerable importance is attached to ensuring that all practical functions and the technology work optimally. To succeed with this, Profin works in close collaboration with architects, building companies and manufacturers of prefabricated homes. Ultimately, this is all to ensure that the customer is offered the most exclusive and unique sliding doors in the market.

Entrepreneurial companies with a long-term perspective

Profin is responsive, curious and entrepreneurial. This allows the company to continuously find its own ways of staying at the forefront of development within sliding doors and panoramic windows. The products must always meet the customer’s requirements for cost and energy efficiency, functionality and sustainable development. Accordingly, new and more sustainable solutions are constantly being developed to minimize our environmental impact. For example, all Profin products are made predominantly of wood to last from generation to generation.

Mikko Haapala, Managing Director of Profin, summarizes the company’s corporate philosophy as follows:

“Our ambition is to manufacture exclusive sliding doors of the highest quality. These products are to last for decades, perhaps centuries – preferably the entire life of the building.”
