Meet Charlotte, MD since 2019, of premium brand Jack Brunsdon in the UK.

What is JBs focus going into the autumn of 2021?
Our summer campaign has resulted in many new orders for us to manufacture and install, so it will be a very busy autumn for us all at JB as we transform our customers homes with our beautiful products

How would you describe the UK market for windows & doors?
Over the last two years customers have become increasingly focused on their homes and renewing and refreshing every aspect of them so we have seen an increased demand for windows & doors in the UK, especially in the premium market we are in.

 

What are the latest trends in doors and windows in the UK?
In the premium market a lot of the trends we see are focused around design elements especially colors and hardware choices. In windows choices are changing from the Grey Greens with Antique brass furniture and we are installing a lot of off white with Black traditional furniture. In doors the color pallet has really opened up and we are installing anything from pink, purple to bright yellow doors as our customers really take the opportunity to make a statement on the entrance of their home

So how are you expanding?
Our JB family is expanding this year, we have new people joining the team towards the end of the year, for instance Fraser and Chris. They have both previously worked for Jack Brunsdon in the past and I am excited to have them return to expand our team.

What brings an extra smile to your face at work?
I just love seeing a customer’s house transformed by our products, it still after all these years never fails to make me smile with such pride when the installation team send them through at the end of a project, it is why I love my job as well as happy customers.
