“Sweden is already our largest business area and is, of course, a very important part of our business,” says Håkan Jeppsson, President and CEO of Inwido. “I am very pleased that Henrik has chosen to take on the difficult task involved in managing this part of our business,” he continues. “I am highly confident that he has the capacity and experience required to maintain and develop our position in these two markets.”
Henrik Hjalmarsson is 40 years old and joins Inwido from the role of President of Findus Nordic, an assignment he has held for more than three years. Prior to that, he was both Commercial Director and Supply Chain Manager at the same company. In the past, he has also previous experiences from work within the senior management team of Findus’ Norwegian operations – experience he will benefit from at Inwido.
“Integrating the Norwegian operations into the Swedish structure is a natural and beneficial step to take,” says Håkan Jeppsson. “Today, the Swedish factories deliver almost 70 percent of the total volume for Norway and we do not see this decreasing in the future. Now, with Henrik taking over the Swedish business area, it is logical to take this step towards further coordination and efficiency in these two operations.”
As previously announced, the current Norwegian SVP, Philip Isell Lind af Hageby, will be leaving Inwido for assignments outside the Group. Effective from 1 August, and until further notice, Erik Fantoft, Financial Director in Norway, will be the acting MD of Inwido Norway.
